HELZ plans to increase the net profit by 25 % in 2009

Jsc «Kharkov Electrical Engineering Plant ”Ukrelectromash" (HELZ), the biggest producer of induction electric motors and domestic electric pumps, which belongs to the Industrial Group UPEC, finished 2008 with the net profit of 65 million hrn.

Thereby, the sales volume decreased by 2 % in comparison with 2007.

The decrease has occurred generally due to the decline in production of electric pumps on 31 % in comparison with previous year.

At the same time HELZ essentially increased the volumes of manufacturing and sales of electric motors (14 %) and food choppers (in 11 times) in both natural, and in money terms.

This year at the expense of development of manufacture of full line of domestic shallow-well pumps HELZ intends to return and expand its positions in the CIS countries, and also to enter with its production into the new markets – Eastern Europe, Central Asia, Middle East and Northern Africa countries.

As a result, HELZ intends to increase the net profit by 25 % in 2009.

As it was informed, HELZ expanded the range of domestic centrifugal oil-well pumps from three to eight models at the end of the last year, nowadays the output of the plant covers the range of nominal pressures from 16 to 70 meters (6, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70 meters).

New products possess a number of competitive advantages in comparison with the pumps of other manufacturers presented in the market. Thus, HELZ output has pump impellers which wear-resistance is raised in one and a half time, all models have maximum guarantee period — 30 months.

The maximum depth of immersing of HELZ BCP shallow-well electric pumps is 15 meters, i.e. in three times deeper, than at similar products of other manufacturers.

Such depth of immersing provides constant water transmission from chinks with small water completion (debit). The error-free running time of HELZ shallow-well electric pumps is 10 000 hours.

All output has import pump body and HELZ electric motor, which is manufactured according to the requirements of NEMA standard and differs by low power consumption.
